DESCRIPTION:Bayou Community Foundation invites you to join us for our upcoming Working Group on Hunger meeting.\n  Thursday\, June 4\n 2:00 – 3:30 PM\n Beacon Light Baptist Church of Houma – 4325 West Park Ave\, Gray \n\n\n\n\n\nThis meeting will feature a special visit from our USDA representatives Doug Mckean and Ellie Manaseri to provide updates\, training and advise on best practices. \nThe meeting will also serve as our annual Food Distribution Partner Disaster Preparedness and Emergency planning session. We will discuss what we can expect in the event of an emergency\, who do we contact and how do we best work together to meet the needs of\nour community during a time of emergency. \nThis discussion will be led by Margie McGowen from Second Harvest Food Bank Bayou Warehouse\, Scott Belanger and Cheryl Skinner from Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux\, and Daisy Cheramie from Terrebonne Churches United Food Bank. \nThis meeting is the perfect time to bring your questions\, and your organizations own resources to the table so that we can collaborate to meet the needs of our neighbors when they need us most! \nDownload the Agenda HERE \n\nIf your organization has any updates or announcements and would like to be added to the agenda\, please let us know in advance by emailing me at Kati@BayouCF.org or calling 985-219-0048.
