Louisiana’s Premier Star Wars–Themed Festival & Cook-Off Supporting Local School Music Programs
Houma, get ready. May the 4th Be With You Louisiana returns in 2026 bigger, louder, and with an even stronger mission — supporting local school music programs across our community.
This one-of-a-kind Star Wars–inspired festival brings fans, families, and music lovers together for a full day of entertainment while raising critical funds that help schools provide instruments, uniforms, travel assistance, and performance opportunities for student musicians.

🏃♂️ The Return of the Kessel Run 5K — Glow Run Edition
Our fan-favorite themed race is back and brighter than ever. Run or walk through downtown in a nighttime glow run experience. Costumes encouraged — fun guaranteed.
🍴 Empire Cooks Back Cook-Off
Local teams face off with creative, galactic-inspired dishes. Sample, vote, and help crown the best flavors in the galaxy.
🎶 Live Music All Day
More bands and performances than ever before, featuring student musicians, local favorites, and regional talent across multiple stages.
🧑🚀 Cosplay Contest
Suit up as your favorite Star Wars character and compete for prizes, bragging rights, and galactic glory.
🎸 Live Auction
Bid on autographed guitars, Star Wars memorabilia, exclusive collectibles, and more — with proceeds directly supporting local schools.
🎪 Intergalactic Circus
The Acadiana Circus returns with aerial acrobatics and cosmic performances that wow audiences of all ages.
