Hurricane Ida Relief Grants

Bayou Recovery Fund for Hurricane Ida Relief – Grants Program

Bayou Recovery Fund Grant Reporting Instructions – for Nonprofits who have received a Bayou Recovery Fund Grant for Hurricane Ida Relief
Update – August 23, 2022

Bayou Community Foundation invites IRS-approved 501c3 nonprofit organizations providing Hurricane Ida recovery and rebuilding services to Lafourche, Terrebonne and Grand Isle to email armandj@bayoucf.org to inquire about grant funding availability for your program.

Grant requests should support nonprofit programs serving the Lafourche, Terrebonne and/or Grand Isle communities and residents with critical recovery and rebuilding services, and/or nonprofit programs that are filling increased needs for services due to the impacts of Hurricane Ida. Grants are not awarded to individuals or for-profit businesses.

Grants awarded are dependent on funds available in the Bayou Recovery Fund and continued needs identified in our community.  This is a competitive grants process. Decisions may take up to 60 days, depending on grants committee’s availability to meet.

Call Jennifer Armand, BCF Executive Director at 985-790-1150 or armandj@bayoucf.or with any questions.
