Bayou Region Nonprofit Event Calendar

The Bayou Community Foundation Bayou Region Nonprofit Event Calendar highlights charitable events hosted by nonprofit organizations serving Lafourche, Terrebonne and Grand Isle. This calendar is intended to help local nonprofits coordinate and plan the timing of their fundraising events while offering potential donors and attendees a clear view of upcoming opportunities to support the Bayou Region through their participation and giving.

To submit an event to be published, complete the form HERE. Please note: All event submissions are subject to review and approval by Bayou Community Foundation before it can be added to the Bayou Region Nonprofit Calendar. To ensure your event has the best chance of being included, please submit your event at least 20 days before the event date.

				1 Fall into Good Health Fall into Good Health October 1, 2026 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm 151 Library Dr, Houma, LA 70360, USA LDH/Office of Public Health Region 3, in collaboration with the Terrebonne Parish Library is hosting this family-oriented health & resource event on Thursday, October 1 from 4pm-6pm at the Main Library in Houma. The event is free and open to the public of all ages. The community will have the opportunity to obtain resources, as well as create family-friendly treats, arts & crafts, build first aid kit, learn how to take fingerprints and gain skills on calming and stress relieving techniques and much more. In addition, various health screenings will be offered, along with Medicaid assistance and WIC registration. All families that attend will also have the opportunity to register for door prizes!
