Welcome to your community resource for finding nutrition assistance in Lafourche, Terrebonne and Grand Isle.

The BCF Food Bank Directory is a project of the Bayou Region Working Group on Hunger and was created in direct response to needs identified in the BCF 2023 Community Needs Assessment.

The directory is designed to help individuals easily find food distribution locations  and see upcoming distribution dates, helping our neighbors most in need access quality nutrition when they need it most.

Food Distribution Map Instructions

This map can help you locate food distribution sites in Lafourche Parish, Terrebonne Parish and Grand Isle.  Click on a site for details like distribution times, contact information and required documentation. You can explore the map in two ways:

  • Map Key:
    Access the key by clicking the menu icon in the top left corner of the map: Click on a location name to view details in a pop-up window. Locations are listed by the type of service offered and then alphabetically. 
  • Location Pins:
    Zoom in on the map and click a colored pin to see site details: Use the + and – buttons in the bottom left corner to zoom in and out, and click, hold and drag to reposition the map.

To enlarge the map for easier viewing, click the full screen icon in the top right corner:

This calendar can help you find upcoming food distributions by date and location in Lafourche, Terrebonne and Grand Isle. You can search the calendar by:

  1. Clicking on an event to see details such as location, distribution times, and any requirements.

  2. Use the arrows at the top right of the calendar to view future months.

  3. Want a paper copy? Click “Print Calendar” in the bottom left corner to print.
Using A Mobile Device? The dots on each date indicate a distribution. Tap inside the date’s box on the calendar to see the full list of distributions for that day.
