It was joyous event filled with many friends, supporters and nonprofit colleagues celebrating with us at a heartwarming community event. 2025 BCF Bus Tour of Nonprofits

On November 12, BCF celebrated National Philanthropy Day with donors, partners and friends in Houma on our 2025 Bus Tour of Nonprofits. We saw firsthand the amazing work being done by our grantees to address critical needs and the incredible impact our grants are making in our community.  A special thanks to our tour sponsors, Woodside Energy and Louisiana Blue, and Terrebonne Arc for providing a bus and driver and to all of our donors whose generous gifts throughout the year are making great things happen in Terrebonne, Lafourche and Grand Isle!

2025 ANCHOR the Bayou Focus Groups

In November 2025, BCF hosted Focus Group sessions for our ANCHOR the Bayou program, bringing together community leaders and volunteers from South Lafourche and South Terrebonne. Their insights on local challenges and solutions will help shape future ANCHOR projects that reflect our community’s priorities and strengthen the Bayou Region. 2025 Bayou Region Nonprofit Conference

Our Bayou Region Nonprofit Conference on October 9 was an incredible day of learning and networking with local nonprofit leaders and new friends from throughout south Louisiana. Huge thanks to our incredible sponsors Louisiana Blue and Woodside Energy, our presenting partner Louisiana Alliance for Nonprofits, our host Fletcher Technical Community College, and all of our volunteers, exhibitors and attendees for making our 7th annual event another one to remember!

Clicks for a Cause: Mastering Digital Communications for Nonprofits 4-Session Cohort

From August to September 2025, BCF hosted “Clicks for a Cause: Mastering Digital Communications for Nonprofits”, a 4-session cohort with Laura Siu Nguyen Table Story Comms. This learning opportunity allowed 20 local nonprofits to gain new tools to connect with their audiences, create meaningful content and use digital platforms to grow support for their missions. We are proud to support these organizations as they strengthen their voices and expand their impact across the Bayou Region. 2025 Annual Nonprofit Grants Ceremony

On August 22, Bayou Community Foundation awarded $355,500 in grants to 32 nonprofits serving Lafourche, Terrebonne, and Grand Isle. Click HERE to view the full list of nonprofit grantees.
